Our 43rd  Reunion Canton, TX

As agreed by the group last year, we all wanted to return to see Robert and Shirley in Canton again this year.  Ruth & Curt were the organizers this year, and we returned to the Azalea House Bed & Breakfast with our wonderful host, Kathy.  Kathy was so happy she did not have to call the police on us or kick us out!

We gathered at the Azalea House as we arrived.  We had dinner that night at the Japapeno Tree. a local Mexican restaurant.  Breakfast was served every morning in the B&B, making it so easy for the whole crew of approximately 24 folks.

The next day we had breakfast followed by a "gab fest" at the B & B.  We had lunch at "Buttermilk's" on the Square.  Then, as a group we went to the nursing home to visit Robert.

The nursing home provided us a visiting room, coffee, and water, and Robert came in to a whole bunch of people!   After a long, fun visit with Robert, we had our evening meal at Four Winds, a delightful steak house locating in Wills Point, TX, about 20 miles up the road.  It was truly a wonderful experience as we had a large room for all of us to sit and visit in a very relaxed atmosphere.  And Sean and the other staff were just outstanding!

We had another great breakfast at the B&B and those who had to depart to meet planes or make other commitments, like a closing on the sale of a house, took off.  The remainder of us were able to get packed and meet our check out time of 11:00.

Thank you to Ruth & Curt for setting it all up!  And thank you to Dustin and John and Linda who helped Robert get there in great shape. And we enjoyed the fact that Charles Ellis was able to attend from Florida and that the rest of the Ellis family (Bob, Tianna, Victoria, Sedrick and Kaylee) and David and Robin made it to Canton to visit with Robert. And thank you to Bev and Vic for the wonderful pictures!!  Our next Reunion will be hosted by Andy and Linda, time and place to be announced later this year!

Charles visited Logan, Dustin, Heather, in Houston	Icey got a home with a nurse (ret), got neutered, and is now sleeping with a cat!
