Our 39th Reunion in Tulsa, OK

Many thanks to Paul and Ruth for this year's 39th Reunion in Tulsa, OK!  Thank you for attending and paticipating.  You did indeed, make for a memorable event! We hope you enjoyed it!

Our ventures this year included a Trolley Ride Tour of downtown Tulsa.  We stopped at the "Center of the Universe" and tried our luck at hearing the echo of our voices when standing in that little circle.  Some tried many, many times and never heard it; and some tried only once and heard it; and some tried only once, and gave up!  It is an unusual phenomena caused, supposedly, by the taller buildings surrounding it. You will not forget it if you hear it because your ears ring for about 30 minutes.  It is very strong!

The next day, we visited the Philbrook Museum built in 1920 which contains outstanding artwork and had a wonderful lunch at the "la Villa" restaurant in the museum, while we looked at gently falling snow outside the windows.  This was followed by a delightful dinner at the Summit Club on the 31st floor of old Bank of America building downtown.  While Julie and family were not able to be with us at the Summit Club, we saw her work everywhere; and it was beautiful!  Finally, we took a quick visit to Jenks, OK and had breakfast at Ruth's house. We have tried to organize the pictures by these events.

Our special thanks to Victoria, Faith, Vic, Beverly, Esther, and Rocky for the wonderful pictures they shared.  Victoria's style can be seen by the angled shots; she is very good at that.  Faith Wilhite, Victoria's friend, is the other photograph who gave us some wonderful memories with her candidate shots.  Thank you to both of you!
